Adsorptive process – Concentration
For economical operation, small solvent concentrations in the exhaust air require often a concentrator which reduces the exhaust air volume and which increases the VOC-concentration. Here, the airflow flows through a zeolite coated rotor where the solvents attach. A smaller, heated desorption flow takes up the solvents again from the adsorption matrix. This way, the after treatment unit, delivered by the customer, can be operated autothermic.
