Air conditioning, EX-dryer for pyrotechnical materials

The execution of units according to ATEX guidelines or SIL-regulations are a matter of course for the R. Scheuchl GmbH. Customer specific tasks, as for example the drying of pyrotechnical materials, are implemented considering highest safety standards.

The unit turns over an air volume of 6.000m³/h. Additionally up to 3.000m³/h are led away as exhaust air and the same amount of fresh air is mixed with the recirculating air volume. In order to optimize energy efficiency these two air flows are led over a cross-flow heat exchanger. After mixing the recirculating air volume with the fresh air it is guaranteed that the lower explosion limit is undercut. All unit components are designed for use in ATEX-zone 2 and are conform to safety level SIL 2.
