Heat recovery from hot gas

[Translate to Englisch:]

In order to optimize the balance of energy of single processes existing heat energy in the exhaust air is used to the most possible extent. For example can hot gas from thermal post-combustions of solvents be used to regenerate the upstream installed concentrator and to produce hot water for further processes.

For minimizing the energy consumption which is necessary for the operation of a concentrator, the heat as produced from the thermal post-combustion is utilized as far as possible. Two-stage heat exchangers for heating the regeneration air with subsequent warm water generation at an exhaust gas amount of 6.000m³/h were implemented successfully. The complete heat performance of the heat exchanger lies at approx. 400kW.
