Thermal / oxidative – Thermal after-burning or KAT

During the oxidative cleaning of solvent-based exhaust air, the solvents are converted into unproblematic materials by thermal reaction. Heat can for example be recovered from the cleaned flue gas stream in order to optimize the balance of energy.

Prior to the burning two volume flows are brought together: 2.500m³/h with about 3.000mgVOC/Nm³ directly from production and 2.200m³/h with approximately 410mgVOC/Nm³ from concentrator. Burning is supported by means of a natural gas-fired industrial burner.
