China the most important export market

R. Scheuchl GmbH is a medium-sized family business that develops, plans and realises customer-specific solutions internationally in the fields of foundry technology, process engineering and energy technology. From individual consulting through the design phase to the finished installation and commissioning on site as well as an intensive after-sales service, the company with around 200 employees offers all services from a single source.
Engineering competence and manufacturing know-how have always formed a close symbiosis here. China currently ranks among the company’s most important export markets, with a direct export quota of around 20 percent. In addition, a share is exported to Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Spain, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Morocco and the USA. The designation of origin “Made in Germany” carries great weight here. Our customers associate it with outstanding engineering achievements and high quality, which our high-grade machines reflect. Many years of experience, constant further development and quality standards at the highest level, however, do not protect us from barriers and obstacles such as country-specific laws and standards or locally differing cultures and customs. High transport costs and regionally varying requirements on the products with regard to the degree of automation and complexity repeatedly present us with new challenges. In order to further promote our company and our sales abroad, we make use of the programmes of the Chamber of Commerce Abroad.
