Robotic part handling for small components

How do you move components flexibly and reliably from their incoming state into the right output container? In this restacking cell, an industrial robot handles the entire process: it removes components as well as complete small load carriers from the supply containers and precisely sorts them into wire mesh containers or other small load carriers – fully automated, without manual intervention.

How the cell works

  1. Infeed – components are supplied in containers via the conveyor system.
  2. Restacking – the robot removes the parts and positions them precisely.
  3. Placement – sorted placement into a wire mesh box or small load carrier.
