Metrology Technician Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

R. Scheuchl GmbH is a family business from Lower Bavaria and has been at home in plant and mechanical engineering for over 60 years. What leaves our production goes into systems that have to run for decades. That is precisely why we are looking for someone who sets the tone at our coordinate measuring machine – and doesn't just fill in reports.
Your tasks
- You operate and program our Wenzel LH1210 coordinate measuring machine independently
- You check dimensional, form and position tolerances on individual parts and complete assemblies
- You create and maintain measuring programs and test plans yourself
- You document and evaluate results, including the test report
- In the event of complaints, you are the metrological authority and deliver the facts
- Together with production, design and purchasing, you further develop our inspection processes and manage the measuring equipment
What you bring
- Completed technical training, e.g. as a cutting-machine, industrial or precision-measurement mechanic (m/f/d)
- Technical drawings, ISO tolerances and GD&T are part of your everyday work
- First experience with coordinate metrology – or the desire to learn it with us from the ground up
- A careful, structured way of working, because in the end your release is what counts
- A quality standard that you also defend towards production when in doubt
- Nice to have: experience with Wenzel systems and the WM Quartis software
