Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Technical sales of special machines – every project is created from scratch.
R. Scheuchl GmbH develops and builds customer-specific special machines and systems for international key accounts from the automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical and foundry industries. No catalogue, no series products – every project is a new task, every solution is created from scratch. We are looking for someone who can sell complex solutions while understanding customer needs as well as technical requirements.
Your tasks
- Technical consulting and support of existing and new customers – from the initial enquiry to order placement
- Development of customer-specific system concepts in close coordination with design and project management
- Preparation of technical quotations and calculations as well as conducting contract and price negotiations
- Identification and development of new markets and target customers at home and abroad
- Market and competition monitoring as well as building up long-term customer relationships
- Representing the company at trade fairs and during customer visits
What you bring
- Completed degree or technician training in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
- Experience in the technical sales of special machines or customer-specific systems
- Ability to develop technically complex solutions together with customers and to present them convincingly
- Basic technical understanding of manufacturing and process engineering; CAD knowledge (Creo, SolidWorks, Catia) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanour in negotiations at decision-maker level
- Self-responsible way of working and hands-on mentality
- Negotiation-level German, good English; further languages welcome
