Service Technician (m/f/d)
Maintenance, service and commissioning of process-engineering systems.
For the maintenance, service and commissioning of process-engineering systems such as air dehumidifiers, exhaust air purification systems and rotary heat exchangers, we are looking for reinforcement. R. Scheuchl GmbH supports its systems throughout the DACH region and worldwide.
Your tasks
- Carrying out maintenance and service deployments, in particular for air dehumidifiers, exhaust air purification systems and rotary heat exchangers
- Planning support for maintenance and service deployments
- Fault-finding on existing systems via remote maintenance and on site at the customer's premises
- Carrying out measurements such as volume flow, temperature, humidity and total carbon, and preparing measurement protocols
- Recording recurring problems including root-cause determination
- Communicating possible optimisation measures for new and existing systems to sales, project management and design
- Coordination with customers, sub-suppliers as well as internal and external PLC technicians
- Close communication with the team as well as passing on data, protocols and problem descriptions
- Accompanying and carrying out the commissioning of new systems
What you bring
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician or electronics technician, preferably with further training as a master craftsman or technician; alternatively a bachelor's degree
- Qualification as an electrically skilled person with authorisation for independent work on electrical systems
- Professional experience in dealing with process-engineering systems desirable
- MSR (measurement, control and regulation) knowledge as well as confident reading of P&ID flow diagrams
- Technical understanding, hands-on mentality and high problem-solving competence
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Class B driving licence
- Willingness to travel in the DACH region, worldwide if necessary, as well as high temporal flexibility; short-notice field deployments and occasional weekend deployments are possible
