for Gray Iron Cylinder Heads and Crankcases
In the gray iron sector, R. Scheuchl GmbH offers customer-specific decoring solutions with an integrated rotation function. This combination plant enables the decoring of both crankcases and cylinder heads.
Casting carriers are transported into the decoring station via roller conveyors, where specially developed special hammers are used. During the decoring process, a giant-wheel design allows the entire decoring unit to be rotated, so that sand can drain out through all openings. Once completed, the casting leaves the station on a transport rack.
