Decoring Station for Gray Iron Cylinder Heads

Reference project

Description
R. Scheuchl GmbH offers “a broad spectrum of decoring machines” for the gray iron sector. The decoring station documented here was specially designed for cylinder head machining.
The system conveys one- to six-cylinder cylinder heads into the decoring station via roller conveyors. After lifting from the conveyor belt, the decoring process begins: hammers break up the sand cores so that loose material can flow out of the casting.
