Combined Systems - Adsorptive and Thermal

Reference project
Description
When solvents are present in the exhaust air stream only in low concentration, they must be concentrated before thermal utilisation. This enables an autothermal operating state of the oxidation stage. The clean gas after the adsorber (concentrator) meets the legal requirements.
The concentrated air stream from the desorption is then cleaned by means of thermal oxidation (TO) or a catalytic system (CAT).
Technical Data
- Total volume flow: 11,000 Nm³/h
- Initial loading: on average 820 mgC/Nm³
- Concentrate stream volume: approx. 1,000 Nm³/h
- Concentrated loading: 1,500 mgC/Nm³
- Oxidation temperature: approx. 750 °C in the TO
