Solvent Separation by Condensation
R. Scheuchl GmbH manufactures customised systems for the condensation of solvents from exhaust air streams. The process comprises pre-cooling – optionally with cold recovery from downstream stages – as well as redundantly designed deep-cooling stages.
Our range of services extends to complete planning, design, engineering, installation and commissioning. Regular maintenance by trained specialist personnel is also part of our offering.
Application Example
An air stream of 5,000 m³/h at 45 °C with a loading of 1.5 g/m³ decamethylcyclopentasiloxane is cleaned by means of two-stage deep-cooling. The clean gas has a solvent content of less than 50 mgC/Nm³ and thus meets the requirements of the TA Luft (German Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control). The total cooling capacity required is approximately 185 kW.
