Description

The crankcase cooler works on the principle of a tunnel cooler with special impingement nozzles. These nozzles direct air onto the crankcase from various angles and positions to enable effective and rapid cooling of the casting.

The transport trays are brought to the system via the in-house conveyor system and then distributed by a transfer unit onto two individual cooling tunnels. At the end of the cooling process, a second transfer unit regroups the empty transport trays.

The overall system consists of two cooling units with a total of four cooling tunnels and two return conveyor lines. An integrated recooler enables recirculated-air operation.
