Reference project

Inorganically bonded core sand is fed from a used-sand silo into the Scheuchl reclamation process, where it is reclaimed in a two-stage procedure. The thermal energy contained in the exhaust air is recovered via heat exchanger systems and used to save energy in the reclamation process. The sand is then cooled to the required temperature in a continuous cooler.
Special features of this system
- Screen classification with buffer silos for reclaimed sand
- Integrated exhaust air filter system
- Cold water treatment
