Reference project

In order to optimise the energy balance of individual processes, the thermal energy generated in the exhaust air is used as extensively as possible. For example, the hot gas produced by the thermal post-combustion of solvents can be used to regenerate the upstream concentrator and to generate hot water for further processes.

In order to minimise the energy consumption required for operating a concentrator, the heat generated by the thermal post-combustion is exploited as far as possible. Two-stage heat exchangers for heating the regeneration air with subsequent hot water generation, at an exhaust gas rate of 6,000 m³/h, have been successfully implemented. The total heat output of the heat exchanger is approximately 400 kW.
